Miss Pole Dance Canada was established in 2005 when Tammy Morris purchased the rights to it after competing in the Miss Pole Dance World Competition in Amsterdam. The first Canadian Competition was then held in 2007.  Tammy has had many obstacles over the years with the stigma attached with Pole Dancing and has slowly been trying to educate people on this athletic art form.  With the event growing in popularity, we have now been able to move it from the bar into the theatre which has always been Tammy' dream.
